Kru Juice on the essentials of the law of facilitation:

Understanding the Different Stages:

1. Cognitive Phase: During the first stage, students acquire fundamental knowledge and understand the fundamental principles. They concentrate on conscious processing, movement breakdown, and method comprehension.

2. Associative Phase: After establishing a solid basis, students move on to the associative phase. They hone their skills here via practice, repetition, and feedback. The emphasis changes from conscious thinking to more fluid execution.

Muay Fit: Stamina is King

By: Brian Hall

Stamina is king.

Endurance is the underrated king in the Muay Thai world, and it’s about time that it has gotten a turn in the spotlight. Of course, the Muay Thai Bata system is one of, if not the best system to turn your stamina from zero to hero. However, in this article we explore diverse Muay Thai training techniques that will give you an endless tank with relentless energy that coincide perfectly with our advanced system.

1. Roadwork: A Tale as old as time

Before there were fancy gyms with state-of-the-art equipment that could measure ever data point and create extremely precise workout regimens. There was roadwork. Muay Thai fighters turn to Roadwork to build endurance, stamina, and mental toughness. Sometimes the simplest answers are the best. Whether you go for steady-state jogs or high intensity sprints. Going out and hitting the pavement is a time-tested method to condition for the intensity of a Muay Thai battle. Here are some tips to add a little extra oomph to your roadwork.

● Try to run on different terrains now and then. Hills, gravel, rocks, and sand can

really add to the burn.

● Shadow boxing during your run will simulate the intensity of a fight.

● Try to break your personal records. Each run try to go faster or farther.

2. Jump Jump Jump rope

There are not too many tools out there that can work your body as efficiently and effectively as the old jump rope. There’s a reason why it has more or less stayed the same since its inception. Jump rope is different from roadwork in that you are able to not only work on stamina and cardiovascular fitness, but you also can incorporate footwork patterns that work your balance and agility. If the weather is not looking too good, jump rope is an amazing option to get that quick training set anytime anywhere. Here are some tips to advance the humble jump rope.

● Slowly increase speed and pace

● Try different jump patterns (High knees, One leg, Side swings, etc)

● Stay on the balls of your feet to give your calves some extra credit.

3. Pad Work Punch through the pain.

Running and jumping rope are amazing ways to build stamina, but it isn’t everything. These methods combined with Muay Thai Bata seek to allow a fighter to maintain peak performance throughout the entire fight. Incorporating Padwork rounds is an awesome way to simulate the ups and downs of a match. Work with a training partner or teacher to perform rounds of intense padwork. Focus on maintaining your technique, footwork, and speed even as fatigue sets in. You will be tired, but that’s no excuse to be sloppy. Here are some tips to get started.

● Keep the intensity throughout the rounds. More experienced trainers should allow their partner to hit them when there if sloppy footwork or technique.

● Slowly increase the length of rounds.

● Try to do a burnout of kicks or knees for the last 30 seconds of some rounds.

Burnout means kick or knee as many times as you can. Commit to integrating these Muay Thai endurance methods alongside Muay Thai Bata, and you’ll be on your way to becoming an unstoppable force in the ring. Remember you may be the best Muay Thai fighter in the world, But if it only lasts 2 minutes you will probably still lose.

TRAIN HARD, FIGHT SMART.
