Kru’s Views 7/24/24

Creating a cooperative business to help Muay Thai coaches across this country is a passion of mine. Most coaches struggle to make a living while coaching. Martial arts often really don't pay that much. But I believe it can. And not by making everyone pay a buttload more, but rather by offering a different range of services that are easy to employ.

We have already started testing some of these, and our class grew by 300%! However, I wasn't satisfied, so I decided to do more. And this is what is happening now in the background as I am building this. And others are helping. Kent State University has been offering assistance, as well as their colleagues. They know that what we are working on has staying power. We are building a model that works with community and small local businesses, and helps everyone, while increasing revenue.

Once launched, we will be bringing people in, who must be voted in by the other owners. All gym owner that get brought in remain owners, in the national organization. And students become participating members.

I am putting a lot of sweat and blood into this, because I believe we stand better together, then we do apart. The international Muay Thai community has been one that brought me family, friends and those dear to me, and it is my goal to make it better.
