Jalin Fuller, at 32 years of age, is a husband, a father of four and a Rio Rancho firefighter. That’s quite a full life, is it not?
But there’s more. He’s also a professional MMA fighter with a 7-4 record.

But, no, there’s more.
On Jan. 25, Fuller is scheduled to face Zach Bunnell of Reno, Nev., in the main event of a professional Muay Thai card at the Manuel Lujan Exhibition Hall at Expo New Mexico.
And there could still be more — will be, if Fuller has his way.
In an interview on Wednesday at Albuquerque’s Kingdom Muay Thai, Fuller said his combat-sports goal is to win a world title in any or all of three disciplines: MMA, kickboxing and Muay Thai.
Junior Benjamin Rudisch goes into the gym for hours a week to train his craft: Muay Thai. He violently punches and kicks pads his coach holds up until he can’t go any longer.
Rudisch thought that he too could try his hand in a fighting sport after seeing a multitude of videos online.
“I kind of got myself into it because I thought it would be fun,” Rudisch said. “I also saw videos online. I thought that looked really cool. So I was like, ‘I might as well try it.’ ”
Anthony Minh Nguyen, Rudisch’s coach, who has been training Muay Thai for 23 years, has not just helped Rudisch with Muay Thai but with his social skills and his experiences.
“When I first met Ben, I found him to be pretty shy, pretty reserved, and then I noticed, like over the months, as he continued to train, I noticed that he started to become more confident,” Nguyen said. “I noticed he was smiling more. I noticed he was connecting and making friends or talking more with the people in the class, which was different from when he had first started.”

Rudisch finds that sparring is his favorite part of Muay Thai as it benefits his technique and gives him ample practice.
“I’ll probably say, it [sparring with classmates] improves my physical health,” Rudisch said. “ Last year, I wasn’t in the greatest shape, but it got me into a lot better shape. My favorite part of Muay Thai, just sparring with people.”
Junior Eli Stepakoff, One of Rudisch’s friends and former gym partner, noticed a difference in Rudisch’s demeanor when he switched to Muay Thai.
Superbon is entering his highly-anticipated rematch with Tawanchai with a renewed sense of confidence, thanks to a clean bill of health.
In a recent interview, the ONE featherweight kickboxing world champion admits that his performance during his bid for the Muay Thai title had been lacking due to a lingering calf injury hampering his mobility.
The injury had been minor enough to allow him to compete but significant enough to be a hindrance from fight camp up until fight night.
"The other mistake is that I didn't have time to train due to the accumulated injuries that caused me to pause fighting last time. It was clearly seen I got exhausted due to the tear in my calf muscle. That caused me to tone it down."

Fans can expect to witness a better, more prepared Superbon in his second attempt for Muay Thai gold.
"In the upcoming fight, I'd be 100% ready since I no longer have the injury like the last fight."
Despite his injury at the time, Superbon performed remarkably well during his fight with Tawanchai, lasting the full five rounds before ultimately losing due to a majority decision.
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Amber “The Bully” Brown is set to fight on the January 25 Coalition Muay Thai fight card, which will be held at the Lujan Building at Expo New Mexico. An MMA fighter by trade, Brown has been out of the fight game since 2023, but after staying in the gym and training, she feels prepared to take on Rebecca Watford in the co-main event. Watford is an experienced Muay Thai fighter who has extensive experience in Thailand.
“I expect her to be a real strong heavy kicker, strong punches and knees. It’s going to be cool to just go out there and test my skills against someone who has just been training Muay Thai and I think it’s going to be a good match-up. She is the same age, she has about the same amount of experience in Muay Thai as I have in MMA,” said Brown.
Brown is an experienced MMA fighter and currently holds a 7-7 record, and she believes that her experience will propel her to a victory. “I just have to remember I faced the best people in the world and my experience and just everything that I have been to will come into play on fight night. So, I feel like it will be in my favor,” said Brown.

The ONE Interim Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title will be up for grabs on January 24 in Bangkok, as #2-ranked contender Nico “King of the North” Carrillo takes on #5-ranked Nabil Anane in an explosive showdown at ONE 170.
The winner will secure 26 pounds of gold and a future World Title unification bout against reigning bantamweight Muay Thai kingpin “The Kicking Machine” Superlek Kiatmoo9, who is currently sidelined due to injury.

Both Carrillo and Anane will come into the contest loaded with momentum and riding impressive winning streaks.
Naturally, the fight has garnered plenty of attention from fans around the globe, as well as some of Muay Thai’s most respected luminaries. Among those luminaries are Superlek and British legend Liam “Hitman” Harrison, who each spoke to onefc.com about this high-stakes showdown at Impact Arena.
The action unfolds at Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium on Friday, January 17, as Puengluang aims to reclaim his dominant form after a challenging close to 2024.
The 25-year-old Thai began his ONE Lumpinee campaign with a sensational six-fight win streak, securing three knockouts along the way. After that, he only managed to nab one win in his last three outings.
Standing in his way is the surging Guluzada, who has delivered back-to-back victories since his promotional debut.
The Azerbaijani teen phenom showcased his exceptional striking arsenal in 2024, most notably dispatching Samingdam Looksuanmuaythai via a first-round TKO.

Now, both fighters will aim to impress as they approach the life-changing 3.5 million baht contract with ONE Championship.
Also on the card, England’s Otis Waghorn meets Thailand’s Pentor SP Kansart Paeminburi in a 143-pound catchweight Muay Thai bout that promises fireworks.
Waghorn burst onto the scene with a highlight-reel knockout of Kongklai Sor Sommai, and despite a narrow majority-decision loss to Suakim Sor Jor Tongprajin in his second outing, the Englishman has solidified his reputation as one of the promotion’s most exciting strikers.
Meanwhile, 20-year-old Pentor enters the ring riding a two-fight winning streak in the weekly series, with decision victories over Jack Jackmuaythai Gym and Thongsiam Lukjaoporongtom.
The event will be opened by Indonesia’s Fajar, who squares off against Jean Claude Saclag of the Philippines in a flyweight MMA bout to kick off the evening in style.
More than a year after his victory over Ciryl Gane in the first round in March 2023, UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones returned to the Octagon to defeat Stipe Miocic at Madison Square Garden in New York at UFC 309. But do you know that to prepare for this clash against the Croatian, Jon Jones collaborated with the Frenchman and Muay Thai legend, Jean-Charles Skarbowsky? Well, he did, and it turns out that Joe Rogan is actually a massive fan of the Frenchman. But how do we know that?

Well, that’s because Joe Rogan’s DMs have been leaked. No, they haven’t been leaked by a hacker of sorts. Instead, it was the legend Jean-Charles Skarbowsky himself who took to Instagram to share a message sent to him by Joe Rogan. So, what did the JRE host say? The UFC commentator revealed in a message that he is a big fan of the Frenchman, and it is an honor to get to connect with him.
The text read, “Hey brother I just started following you so I just now am seeing your message. I’m a big fan of yours too. It’s an honor to connect with you.” Replying to it through his caption of the post, Jean-Charles Skarbowsky wrote, “An honor to know that you appreciate me brother @joerogan.” The Muay Thai legend had become known to the general public thanks to his mythical appearance in the show ‘The Ultimate Fighter.’
