The Rajadamnern World Series (RWS) is a Muay Thai tournament that has gained significant recognition in recent years for revitalizing the sport and introducing innovative changes while maintaining the traditional spirit of Muay Thai. Below is an overview of its history and evolution:
Origins and Concept
Rajadamnern Stadium Legacy:
Rajadamnern Stadium, established in 1945 in Bangkok, is one of the oldest and most prestigious Muay Thai venues in Thailand. It has been a symbol of traditional Muay Thai for decades, hosting countless legendary fighters and championships.
In the 21st century, Rajadamnern Stadium faced challenges with dwindling attendance and competition from other entertainment options and modern combat sports like MMA.
Creation of RWS:
To rejuvenate the sport and attract younger audiences and international attention, the Rajadamnern World Series (RWS) was launched in 2022.
It was created as part of a modernization effort to make Muay Thai more accessible, engaging, and entertaining for global audiences while respecting its traditional roots.
Vision and Objectives:
Provide a platform for top-tier Muay Thai fighters from around the world to compete.
Innovate the traditional Muay Thai format to make fights more dynamic and appealing to broader audiences, including those unfamiliar with the sport.

The YouTube channel offers an exciting collection of Muay Thai fights that take place every Saturday, providing fans with thrilling martial arts entertainment. One of the highlights is the official Lumpini Boxing Stadium Thai Water Pipe Battle Lumpini TKO Tournament, which is held every Saturday from 16:00 to 18:00 hrs. This event is a must-watch for Muay Thai enthusiasts, as it showcases some of the best fighters in the sport. The tournament is broadcast simultaneously on Channel 9 MCOT HD, allowing viewers to enjoy the action live from the comfort of their homes.
