ONE Friday Fights 127 delivered a night of explosive action from the legendary Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. In the main event, Thai striking ace Worapon Lukjaoporongtom secured his fourth consecutive victory with a dominant first-round TKO over Kongkula Jitmuangnon in their 142-pound Muay Thai showdown. The 22-year-old dropped his opponent three times in the opening frame, with a dizzying left cross for the first knockdown, followed by a relentless barrage of strikes that led to the decisive third knockdown and the TKO stoppage at the 2:49 mark. This impressive performance brings Worapon’s career record to 68 wins and moves him one step closer to a coveted US$100,000 contract with ONE Championship.

The co-main event saw Bulgarian slugger Bogdan Shumarov return to his winning ways with a brutal first-round knockout of Maciej Karpinski in their lightweight kickboxing bout. After a strategic start, Shumarov found his opening and unleashed a devastating body shot that crumpled Karpinski for good at the 2:40 mark of the first round, maintaining his 100 percent finishing rate in the promotion. In a highly anticipated rematch at ONE Fight Night 36, Italian-Canadian Jonathan Di Bella retained his ONE Strawweight Kickboxing world title with a unanimous decision victory over Prajanchai PK Saenchai. The bout, held in Bangkok, Thailand, was a clash of styles, with Di Bella’s rangy kickboxing and high-volume output dictating the pace against Prajanchai’s counter-heavy Muay Thai style. Di Bella’s consistent pressure and effective striking earned him the win on all three judges’ scorecards, along with a US$50,000 performance bonus from ONE Championship Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong. This victory marks Di Bella’s second win over the legendary Prajanchai, solidifying his position as the undisputed king of the strawweight kickboxing division.

Following the fight, Di Bella expressed his confidence in his performance, stating he felt a shift in momentum from the first round after landing a significant body shot. While Prajanchai rallied in the later rounds, Di Bella’s superior footwork and consistent output kept him ahead. The 29-year-old champion, who now holds an impressive professional record of 15-1, emphasized the importance of defending his title, stating, “Real champions defend. That’s what I’ll do.” While open to a potential trilogy with Prajanchai, Di Bella made it clear he intends to have at least one more kickboxing defense before considering a switch to Muay Thai rules, where he suffered his only professional loss to the same opponent.

ONE Fight Night 36 was a night of emotional farewells and stunning upsets, headlined by the legendary Aung La “The Burmese Python” N Sang’s retirement fight. The former two-division ONE World Champion ended his illustrious career on a high note, securing a TKO victory over former welterweight king Zebaztian “The Bandit” Kadestam in a middleweight MMA clash. The bout was a tense affair, with both fighters picking their shots carefully in the opening round. However, Aung La N Sang turned up the pressure in the second, overwhelming Kadestam with a barrage of punches, knees, and a final right hand that sent the Swede to the canvas. The victory earned “The Burmese Python” the 31st win of his career and a US$50,000 performance bonus.

In a surprising turn of events, it was announced that Aung La N Sang will be inducted into the ONE Championship Hall of Fame at ONE 173 in Tokyo, Japan, on November 16. The night also saw a major upset in the flyweight division, as #2-ranked strawweight contender Mansur Malachiev moved up a weight class to defeat former ONE Strawweight MMA World Champion Jarred “The Monkey God” Brooks. Malachiev secured a stunning second-round submission victory with a north-south choke, putting the American to sleep and potentially earning himself a spot in the top-five flyweight MMA rankings. The event also featured impressive wins for Shozo Isojima, Aslamjon Ortikov, Sanzhar Zakirov, Akif Guluzada, Fabricio Andrey, and Selina Flores.
